  • Monte Carlo Casino, Monaco

The Casino de Monte-Carlo is located in the Principality of Monaco, a tiny nation on the French Riveria. Residents of Monaco are actually prohibited from gambling in the casino, which is open only to foreigners. A historic building, the casino dates back to the mid-19th century and has been depicted many times in popular culture, most famously in a number of James Bond movies.

The Wynne Macau opened for business in 2006 and features 1,008 hotel rooms, a 25,400 m2 casino, and four dining options. The restaurants are Golden Flower, a Chinese restaurant, Mizumi, which features Japanese cuisine, Ristorante Il Teatro, an Italian place, and Wing Lei, which offers Cantonese dishes. The 20-acre complex cost a reported $1.2 billion dollars to construct and has 317 table games and 810 slot machines. They also had a poker pit, but it has been closed during the COVID pandemic.

The Sun City resort opened its doors in 1979.
